Jack Lost & Found HH

Jack has hosted this week’s Haveil Havalim, the best of the Jewish blogosphere. I have heard rumors of objections to some of the viewpoints espoused in this blog carnival. Well, there is an old expression, two Jews, three opinions. So if you visit, you will note a large variety of opinions. I am sure that my post on Images inside Links has caused a lot of commotion and chagrin, and I apologize to anyone who feels differently on this troublesome topic.

  • It’s hard to imagine that it’s pumpkin season already since temperatures here are still sky high, but in fact when Jay and I got home last night we saw that someone had dropped off half a (very large Israeli) pumpkin at our house. I’m going to be cooking pumpkin for the next week!

  • Oh, I’m so glad you all got my joke. I showed it to my son before I hit publish, and he wasn’t terribly interested.

Robin, so they grow in Israel even though it’s hot? I guess they don’t need it to be cool.

Ilana-Davita, we have a tiny little backyard. Big enough for some tomatoes and for the kids to play. The photo was taken at Lee Turkey Farm, where we went apple picking. I took plenty of photos.
