I was going to say what Ralph said about the wet summer and getting the last Romas off the plant Sunday.

It was a wet and cool summer here and you can see it in the produce at the local farmer’s markets..

Glad you are all enjoying my tomatoes! We did have some, I’m not complaining too much, but last year we had a bumper crop of tomatoes, so in comparison, it was a lighter year.

You’re right about the wet summer…took a while, and this year the soil was prepared so well in the pots. They taste just as good but took sooooo long to harvest.

We were able to pick the last of the Romas on Sunday. Now we enjoy fresh tomatoes, but in the winter…we enjoy the last of the harvest now!

Love the tomatoes! What a great shot. Beautiful bowl as well. I have lots of green tomatoes still on the vine that are having a hard time ripening.
