The colors are lovely! A versatile photo which could be a Ruby Tuesday or even a Skywatch Friday!

On the Thursday Challenge site, someone called Krisu has left another nice photo with brushes.

  5. Carra says:

Painting! I love that! What are we painting?

    P.S. Beautiful composition.

  6. Leora says:

Carra, I was hoping someone would ask! The photo is supposed to show the appearance of painting the sky, though I suppose one would then expect blue paint instead of yellow.

I was painting our garbage cans with our street address so they wouldn’t get mixed up with our neighbors’ cans. Not terribly romantic, huh? It’s an ancient brush, one that my mother or grandmother may have used, but now it’s no longer particularly suited for oil painting on canvas, it’s too beaten up.

Ilana-Davita, thanks for the heads up on the other brush photographer.

  7. Carra says:

As for yellow, you may be painting the sun on top of the sky, who knows, don’t be too analytical (said someone who analyzes her shoe size), I like the it, painting the sky, you should have called that! From what I understand painting runs in your family?

  8. Tommy V says:

I like your photo and how you capture the brush with the wonderful blue sky

  9. Janet says:
