Some of those looked more "bell"-like, but some were hanging down like these (I looked on Google images). But I'm going with the Lobelia guessers. I'll be back at the plant nursery next spring; I doubt I'll make it back this fall. I'll bring my photo with me! Thanks to everyone for enjoying my purple flower! Ilana-Davita, maybe it’s campanula.
