A little coreopsis flower from my 2006 garden

This was cropped from a 2006 photo, taken from my old digital Kodak Canon Powershot. I see the photo is not as crisp as those taken with my current Canon Powershot. Could be my skill has improved. It is a threadleaf coreopsis.

Today’s Flowers is hosted by Luiz Santilli Jr. Thank you, Luiz, for this lovely and fun meme.

Beautiful colours! Does it grow wild? I am not familiar with the name – but it looks a little bit like a wildflower growing in Norway!

It is difficult to find flowers at the moment except on the hard disk. I could only find one new one in the garden today. The color of you coreopsis is lovely.

Valkyrien, I suppose once upon a time it grew wild, but I grow it in my garden, as do many other gardeners in the U.S.

  19. Your skill may have improved, but this looks like a fairly low light day, and your new camera may have image stabilization, which really makes a huge difference. In any case, a beautiful flower!

  20. Leora says:

Sara, yes, my newer camera does have image stabilization!
