Website Revamp
February 9th, 2009 by Leora
I spent some time today revamping my home page. Am I happy with the results? I am my own worst critic. I’ll probably be playing with it again in the next few months, but for today, here it is.

Here’s how it previously looked. I felt there was too much white space.
Maybe later this week I’ll show off a site I finished recently.

I like the new look, I also liked the old look. I’ve already changed my hair, so now I will have to play with my blog, but my choices are limited….
It’s nice, and now looks like the wallpaper in my kitchen, which I love.
It’s great!
Wow the New design looks great!
All three of you are so nice to me. I hate doing these revamps in a vacuum.
I wish the lace tiled properly and didn’t take as long to load, but it’s OK for now.
Very pretty. I like the new background – it’s pretty, but subtle. Easy on the eyes.
Beautiful I saw that you also worked on mother in Israel.
Thanks, Robin and Batya. I mostly did background work for Mother in Israel’s new WordPress version. Playing and tweaking a script so many of the comments from her blog could be uploaded to her new site. The design work was from last year, when I designed a header for her.
It does look better now, with less white space. It makes you focus better on the middle of the page, on the content, you can see more at once.
