    Nice one. This piece of cloth seems to have gone through a few centuries. We don’t learn how to do these things (spinning, embroidery, knitting…) any more, at least here we don’t.

      I know some women that do embroidery and knitting (my mother-in-law, for one), but to see spinning one has to go to an old-fashioned village like this one. You haven’t been to any? I’ve seen at least one on Jientje’s site; maybe it was in Belgium.
