Yes, do try the butternut soup. Its taste is more subtle than that of pumpkin. My nieces both enjoy it.
Thanks for the link and Shabbat Shalom.

    • Leora says:

Butternut squash are commonplace in New Jersey supermarkets in the fall. Come winter, however, they are not as good. I nearly bought a rotten one this week. Sweet potatoes seem to be available all year.

  2. «Louis» looks forward to the soup recipe! (He likes to cook!)

  3. Jew Wishes says:

You have had a nice blogging week!

    Thank you for the link.

    Shabbat Shalom!

  4. Jientje says:

I’m looking forward to their return. I had a mother feeding her young ones on my patio last Spring! Have a great weekend Leora!

  5. See..you are doing bird ids….I have had a few starlings here too. A very successful non-native bird introduced because somebody thought that all the birds mentioned in the works of Shakespeare should be in America…..Michelle
