These photos remind me of a book I had as a child called "The Lonely Doll." I'll show it to you next week after art class. I was obsessed with that book as a kid and I took it out of the library so much that the librarian banned me from it! Years later I told the story to a friend and she found a copy of the book for me.

Jill, the library has an biography of the woman who wrote the Lonely Doll. She had a sad life.
