Seems to be the time of year when one posts colorful leaves, especially red ones. Are the leaves changing colors where you live? Enjoy this detail of a red leaf on my oak leaf hydrangea bush.

Gorgeous reds! A lot of our leaves are just drying out and falling without changing colour.

Love your hydrangea leaf. I tried to copy you by photographing a blood beech leaf today. Didn’t turn out well at all.

    Gorgeous color and detail!

  7. Even here in the San Francisco Bay Area, which doesn’t really have sharp differentiations between the seasons as you do there in New Jersey, we are seeing colorful leaves.

  8. Great pics.. love the quercifolia.. it has great flowers as well. Autumn colours over in the uk are looking good this year with plenty of cool nights but not that frosty so it doesn’t knock the leaves straight off the trees.
