Here in a fall fog, Johnson Park's small ponds attract Canada geese of two very different populations. Year-round we have the fat, semi-tamed resident geese who never stray far. (We found one that had been tagged in Metuchen.) In the fall, though, they are joined by wilder migrating geese who come hundreds of miles from Canadian breeding grounds.
