Looking back from the foot of the trail down Valley Place Ravine, you can't see the houses for the trees and might imagine yourself in deep woods, not a town of 14,000. The trail is shown just after it was cleared by WaterWatch. From this spot the photographer watched a pair of hooded warblers and with them a pair of Carolina wrens, all taking turns splashing in the stream. Later, three deer came down for a drink.
