This gazebo and the new, less sprawling, parking area by the redesigned boat ramp in Donaldson Park make that area a more varied destination than it was with just the boat ramp. This work essentially marks the end of Phase I park redevelopment. Phase II will treat the two ends of the park, probably including additional vegetation for the riverside along the picnic grove downstream of this photo, as has already been planted for the central portion of the riverside.
