The construction fence for the Eugene Young Environmental Center went up in November 2005 and encloses most of the south half of the 3-acre Native Plant Reserve on River Road. The center building and shade structure will be opposite Walter Street (just to the left of the foreground of this photo), while paths and eventually a sculpture garden will extend down nearly to the apartments in the distance.
