Along the path to Donaldson Park, watch for the small metal tags identifying our native plants, here a highbush blueberry. These tags, plus more detailed educational signs being added, guide you on a nature trail. Similar tags, either metal or blue plastic, are coming into use elsewhere in a boroughwide network of nature/environmental information. You can already find others at the Native Plant Reserve/Environmental Center (River Road at Harrison) and on a row of several species of native flowering street trees planted along the east side of Irving School.
