Conspicuous in this fairly close view from over The Meadows is the WCTC tower. Two newly constructed features are shown here in their first aerial photos. The fenced area on the extreme left in the green lawn of Donaldson Park is the park's new dog run. Let your dog slip the leash and romp here. Almost exactly centered in the photo is Highland Park's newest nature trail, the path to Donaldson Park.You can see it as the thin gray line running south (left) from the intersection of Valentine and South Fifth. It connects to Donaldson Park, passing between the Public Works garage on one side and a wooded stream on the other. Tags identify all the new plantings of native trees and shrubs, as well as many of the naturally occurring trees and flowers.
