Talk about looking out of place. Nice photographic contrast, and interesting how carnations line up with direction of snow streaks.

Beautiful. The incongruence of the flower really makes you focus on the snow and ice. Lovely shot.

This is the kind of scene that would turn into a whole story in my mind. It would actually make a good Wordsmith's Challenge prompt. Because the stories of how these flowers came to be in this setting could vary almost infinitely.

What a lovely photo, with great texture blends, and the vibrant floral tones to contrast.

As I'm scrolling through to find something I saw this picture and it's truly gorgeous that I just had to comment! I love the combination of the rose, snow and road.

Jewish Side, it's a carnation (not a rose). Glad you like it!
