This is such a lovely reflection image, Leora! I like the contrast of the white building with the fall foliage colors in the reflection.

Hi Leora, this is a beautiful reflection! The white house looks so enchanted in the midst of scenic fall foliage!

Love the cute badge for WE.

Hello there Leora
This is such a nice view in the first place, but to get it reflected is a great bonus

Nice picture... should have under exposed it though to make it look more interesting :) Here I added a little contrast to the image http://mediasolu.com/allaire_scene.jpg

Leora says

I like your version. Maybe I'll post it next week. (I had already added some contrast in Photoshop - but you got it to look less pale).

Dhaval Jani says

Thanks. Yes sometimes camera's meter fails to get right exposure so at times when you take water(reflecting day light) or clouds or snow, its better to use polarizing filter or AE bracketing..

Reply
Leora says

AE bracketing - I'll have to look that one up.

That is a beautiful photo with a great reflection

Here is a video to show how it works on xsi I am sure its same settings for xti :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gD9D4w6B7qY

Note they are showing full 2 stops example in video so it looks really dark... its upto the user to see how muc they want to set... you would use same technique to take shots for HDR pictures and later combine them using software

A lovely mirror image!
Is this a church? It sits in such a serene setting.

I think so. There was another white building that looked like a church, too, and I wasn't sure why one little village would have two churches. Never got a chance to ask.

It's a wonderful village to visit.

This little stretch of water (lake?) has so much to discover, in addition to the gorgeous reflection. Is that a church, as there appears to be a bit of a steeple to one side. I get engrossed with waters like this. The grasses and reeds have such lovely seed heads. And there is always something buzzing around with lizards that like to eat the buzzers!

Lovely post for the Weekend Reflection.
