We woke up to snow today. I suppose the crocuses are confused. The birds don’t seem to mind – they were chirping away as usual.
I took some bud photos – I have this idea to photograph one tree or plant every day, but I don’t follow through. Enjoy the willow and magnolia buds.

In “unnatural” news, I was upset to hear of a terrorist attack in Jerusalem – this came one week after the brutal massacre of a family in Itamar, Israel. For some upbeat news, you can watch Autistic Child Fully Recovered with Biomedical Treatment for Autism.
The snow covered purple flower is a beautiful shot!

Magnolia buds are so soft and furry 🙂 Very beautiful photos.
It feels like spring here at present so I hope the snow does not reach us in a week or two.
Thanks for providing upbeat news. I was also very upset to hear of the terrorist attack in Jerusalem.
Oh dear, Leora! We received new snow today too BUT we’re in Canada! And we don’t have crocuses yet.
I love the shots of your crocuses in the snow and buds. This is the first March in several years I haven’t gotten any crocuses in the snow shots. After early March we’re usually safe from snow but for 2 or 3 years in a row we had snow around the first of March.
beautiful captures!
so sad to note that terrorist attacks have become almost a daily affair …
I have also had the thought to capture a tree or a rose bush or the garden on a daily basis and never do it. I still think it’s a good idea, though.
You would think the flowers/plants/buds/trees are going to go in a consecutive order – but my rhododendron today went back to its frozen look, after seeming to be open for spring last week.
Love the crocus in the snow – Hope the cold snap doesn’t ruin your spring flowers.
March is such a tease, full of all kinds of weather surprises.
What bud beauties! I love the crocus with the snow.
crocuses growing in the snow are always such a clear sign of hope and spring!
Little signs today will burst forth tomorrow!!
We too have snow and it is so cold here.. I love the photos of buds..There is something magical about them….Michelle
