Andromeda Shrub Flowers – Macro

andromeda flowers
These tiny white flowers are on my andromeda shrub.

Same andromeda shrub: these flowers have turned a pinkish red color. What else do you see? Looks almost like blood to me. Click Andromeda and scroll down to see the bush in context – you will see how tiny the flowers are.

Your beautiful mini flowers are more examples of the abundance our Creator is sprinkling over us.
Very good capture of you as well.
Their name, Andromeda, made me remember my dad. He was fascinated by the endless universe and would take me outdoors to show the wonders of the sky. He was fascinated by the Andromeda galaxy as well as Greek mythology.
Tonight I have repeated old knowledge on the Internet. Thanks for inspiration as well as beauty.

Felisol, you got me to look up Andromeda (from Wikimedia): "Andromeda is a princess from Greek mythology who, as divine punishment for her mother's bragging, (the Boast of Cassiopeia) was chained to a rock as a sacrifice to a sea monster. She was saved from death by Perseus, her future husband. "

They look to me like watercolors were painted on the flowers.
