nasturtium leaf with a drop of water
On Sunday it rained and rained, and I had the pleasure of photographing my nasturtium with a big dollop of rain water sitting on the edible green round leaf.
I am wondering if I am seeing Italy and Sicily in the water drop reflection. This is an awesome shot…one of those I would just love to take one day. So pretty. genie
Wow, wonderful what you can see. This photo is a product of the macro lens my family “bought” me for my birthday (or rather, I bought it, and I said thank you to them).
No, just my macro lens! I’ve learned to hold steady and use the auto focus feature. I find the lens sometimes just focuses on one area for really close macros, so I have to take several shots until I get a good one. I often crop them to the focused area.
I love how nasturtium leaves do that, it’s a beautiful thing to see.
wonderful capture. i am now inspired to attempt a shot like this.
enjoy the rest of the week.
Like a jewel! I love water drops.
Beautiful shot, and the reflection is wonderful!
Amazing how beautiful a single drop of water can be!
WATER DITTY
A mist, a drop, a river, the sea—
All of this water, a gift for me!
Some snow, a berg, or maybe some ice—
Anything frozen, that would be nice!

Looks like a jewel near the centre with several others on the leaf’s edge.
This beautiful. Did you use a tripod? Because it is very clear unlike mine sometimes it is blurry ^_^ Happy Wednesday!

Oh, good timing! That raindrop looks like a jewel. Never a shortage of wonderful photo subjects in nature, is there?
More precious than diamonds and as beautiful too.
Wow that is gorgeous!!
