When you were young, did you watch Sunday morning cartoons? Ever thought you would have the opportunity to make one? My sixteen year old son makes movies in his spare time, as a way to relax.
My son creates stop-motion animation with clay, also known as claymation. He takes lots of photos of his subject and strings them together in a movie. The films are edited with software called Magic. When I have needed to put together a video with titles and captions for a client, I’ve used his services. Enjoy his latest creation, the film Droplet.
This is so good Leora! Congratulate your son for me. I can see his films improve with time.
Thank you. I like the change of emotions (via music and via the looks on the droplets) in this one. I think he captured the alienation of the last droplet well.
Very cute! BA”H, he’s very talented!
Thank you!
I so love this! The poor droplet. Survival of the fittest, I suppose.
Your son is such a talent.
The one that doesn’t fit finds his own purpose at the end.
Oh he saved a tree…. I do remember those cartoons. I enjoyed this… Your son did a great job… Again… Michelle
It does have an environmental message at the end, doesn’t it? Thank you, Michelle.
Stop motion fascinated me when I was a kit, and it’s safe to say the appeal has not gone away 😉 I wonder how many individual pictures are needed to make this one minute of film?
