There is a song called "Loose Balloon" by The Presidents of the United States of America. Ever since the first time I heard it, that is the first thing that pops in my head every time I see a random balloon floating away.

Do the balloons come down again? I wonder about that, having never seen one come down. I thought maybe they get stuck in the stratosphere somewhere.
