Dragon hanging at the Highland Park Public Library

This dragon is on display in the children’s room at the Highland Park Public Library. I took the photo on one of our trips to visit Belle, the therapy dog. Belle is on vacation until February. Have a good holiday, Belle! See you next year.

  5. What an amazing quilt! I am so in awe of people who can create things like that.

  6. Leora, a magnificent dragon so beautifully colorful! I wondered who Belle, the therapy dog was til I click the link. That’s a marvelous thing for a library to do! I love the new Ruby Tuesday badge. Can I use it and suggest it for use by other participants next week? :)

  7. Leora, I think the new badge is a little small on your post. Do you have a bigger version? Could you send it to me in e-mail? That is if I can use it… :)

    • Leora says:

Mary, I’ll email you a larger one soon (maybe tomorrow?). Yes, I would love for you and others to use it. Then in a few weeks/months maybe I’ll make yet another one.

I like this dragon, sot so scary as stylish (is that paisley on his scaly coat??). He appears to twirl on his canvas – a creative children’s librarian is a gem, they were such a fun place for ours to learn!

Wonderful dragon, I like the red rickrack trim. What a great library you have!

  13. Patti V. says:

Ralph probably noticed the paisley because we are into Vera Bradley patterns this year, ahem, thanks to our daughter who has become interested in those things. ;-) She may be getting something from Santa in that vein.

This dragon is colorful and creative. I wouldn’t want to make such a quilt, but I can appreciate all the work that goes into it.

    Very nice. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Hi Leora, do you think that dragon in the library would scare the kids? I like your quilt a lot. It is very colorful as it should be.

Happy RT! I have three of my granddaughters and two dogs today for RT. Adi the beagle, is a therapy. We ‘worked’ today at an assisted living center with an Alzheimer’s wing. The residents all love Adi.
