Anyone know who Timna is? And why am I talking about presents (which could go with a prayer book and a bow and arrow)? I plan to write more on this for a post to appear on Wednesday.

Something to do with Yaakov greeting Eisav?
Don’t know who Timna is.
Jewish Side, so, look her up before Wednesday! Or read my post on Wednesday.
Timna is the daughter of Eisav, who was not permitted to convert to Judaism and ended up being the mother of Amalek.
When Yaakov was getting ready to meet Eisav after dividing his camps he took 3 precautions: he prepared for war, he offered bribes/presents, and he prayed for divine assistance.
Cool, Larry. So now all I have to do on Weds. is display my watercolor. Oh, and maybe I’ll say just a thing or two about how I connected Timna with the battle, tribute and prayer of Yaakov.
I’m really enjoying these little quizzes. Please keep them up.
Larry, good, I enjoy making them up! Next week should be easy, it was my son’s bar-mitzvah parsha last year. I know it well.
