  • Jewish Side, it was really just an excuse to link to the Mumbai Massacres again. But while I was at it, I enjoyed decorated the post with some of those berry tree photos I took. That’s how I work, look at the painful stuff, then add some comforting visual stuff.

  • Photos are comforting visuals for me also. Yours are lovely borders to your weekly review.

I can’t even begin to articulate the horrific events that occurred…they are too devastating for words.

  • I’m catching on with the memes. I think they are a great idea, but it’s a matter of picking and choosing, and not letting the memes overwhelm my specific blog theme. It’s really fascinating.

  • The digest is a great idea.

I find that for too many people the tragedy is already behind.
How did you split the photo into two? By cropping?

  • Ilana-Davita, it’s still being talked about on some Jewish and some conservative blogs. The point is, there may be more. This wasn’t an isolated incident. And Jews were definitely targeted, as well as Westerners.

It was actually two different photos. I did it rather quickly. Any appearance that it was the same photo was shear luck. Or luck combined with a skillful eye.

  • Leora: Interesting how visual stuff comfort you. Whatever works is good. I actually haven’t read any articles or looked at any pictures or videos having to do with the attack, cause it just makes me too sad, and I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to handle all the details.

  • Jewish Side, I can understand. Some of those pics are gruesome. The only pic I used was an Israeli woman who, if I met in person, I bet I would have gotten along great with her. She looks happy in her photo.
