This was cropped from a 2006 photo, taken from my old digital Kodak Canon Powershot. I see the photo is not as crisp as those taken with my current Canon Powershot. Could be my skill has improved. It is a threadleaf coreopsis.
Today’s Flowers is hosted by Luiz Santilli Jr. Thank you, Luiz, for this lovely and fun meme.
Beautiful and delightful coreopsis 🙂
Beautiful colours! Does it grow wild? I am not familiar with the name – but it looks a little bit like a wildflower growing in Norway!
I must say this photo makes me very anxious for spring. 😉
I never knew its name until now! lovely yellow…true looking forward to spring!
Lovely flower and I too didn’t know its name before. Thank you for sharing it.
Lovely yellow flower! Means that spring will come!
Thanks for sharing!
It’s a lovely yellow flower, it has the gift to make some one happy.
Beautiful!
It is difficult to find flowers at the moment except on the hard disk. I could only find one new one in the garden today. The color of you coreopsis is lovely.
These are great flowers!
Beautiful yellow.
Valkyrien, I suppose once upon a time it grew wild, but I grow it in my garden, as do many other gardeners in the U.S.
Lovely flower maybe it wasn’t sharp because you moved slightly – I do that all the time!
Leora: Congrats on linking up first, that was a nice yellow flower.
I enjoy seeing bright yellow flowers, especially on a wintry day. Thanks!

HSWF:)
The yellow flower is amazing.
I love this flower in my garden it just lights up an otherwise boring corner of the garden..pops!!
Your skill may have improved, but this looks like a fairly low light day, and your new camera may have image stabilization, which really makes a huge difference. In any case, a beautiful flower!
Sara, yes, my newer camera does have image stabilization!
oh this is very cute. Love the yellow of this.
Happy Monday!
The photos in my blog were scanned with table scanner.
You can make it if you have a scanner.
You need only put the flower on de glass in a semi dark room.
Oh..I really need the spring to come…
hey! I love yellow flowers! nice!
A little bright yellow for a blah Monday!
This is one of my favorite flowers. Mine did really well last summer.
Wonderful yellow one !
What a sparkle of brightness within the green.
It’s always nice to come across old pictures and discover that our photographic skills have improved huh?
I am such a fan of coreopsis–this is a lovely photo. The soft yellow of moonbeam coreopsis is one of my faves. Thanks for sharing!
