I did this almost 6 years ago, when my daughter was one. It’s a combination of graphite, watercolor and crayons on paper. As I haven’t had a chance to do art lately (work, work, work –> keep that web work coming!), I love the opportunity to share this portrait with you.
Love all those curls!
Was she really this curly?
I had to find a picture of her from age one. It was more messy than it was curly. It was all over the place.
I looked at another one. Yes, lots of curls behind her. I had very curly hair as a toddler, as did my mother.
Those curls remind me of my daughter until she got ahold of some scissors at age 3…..Beautiful portrait Leora…
You have a really nice girl – 1 year old Goldilocks – staying still for a portrait 🙂 Dream girl!
I love this!
Serious talent Leora. 🙂
Thank you, Carletta.
This portrait has such great energy and intensity!
A special thank you to you, Jill!
Oh, Leora, you are very talented! This is a wonderful piece of artwork! 🙂
Thank you for saying so, Mary.
aw very sweet. it speaks well of her energy and your observation of it.
Oh my goodness! Mixed media always create the best original pieces! This is beautiful! So much texture! KUDOS!
It’s great how it all comes together in one form.
Great drawing!
