I keep looking at the sand – to make sure I am not looking at the food below. Can’t resist those cookies – I wonder if my husband has some cookies hidden anywhere…
For me, it’s the picture of the Dunkin’ Donuts that does me in. I love eating them, and then I feel that little ‘why did I eat that greasy thing’ pit feeling in my stomach soon after.
That does look hot. Great shot.
Thanks for your visit to my blog and to answer your question the funny looking duck is called a muscovy duck. I found out they are native to Mexico, central and south america. Although they are a tropical bird they can adapt to snowy and icy conditions.
Thanks for the muscovy duck information. Strange name, too: “muscovy” – I would think that would be a duck from Moscow, not from Mexico.
This picture looks hopelessly hot, as in no hope for vegetation hot. Mercy, mercy, mercy. I am speechless. Thanks to Jerusalem Hills Dina, I know the whole country is not like that.
It never occurred to me that someone would think the whole country looks this way! Yes, Jerusalem is much higher up and has more green, as Dina often shows. And the Galil were my cousins live, in the North, is quite green, most of the time.
I’m hot just looking at that. It will be many more months before I brave the desert again. We love Ein Gedi, but not in summer.
It certainly looks hot!
