All the metalworking art jobs are disappearing it seems. The blacksmith forge is a real tough job while using fire, water and muscle to make raw metal into useful things, like horseshoes. The anvil business must not exist, but the smith exists fine in a mass produced world…
I enjoyed your detailed, informative comments, Ralph. Thanks – I would have no idea. Blacksmiths are something we see in these old-fashioned villages and farms.
Good question. I suspect it is a reproduction of a real blacksmith shop. The logo has kind of a modern look, which gets me suspicious that it is an imaginary reproduction.
None of the buildings were open when we visited, and the truth is I was rather tired and was concentrating more on getting good shots with my camera than finding out the details of the park.
Very nice sepia photo. I love how you captured both the window view and the sepia scene together!

Great subject into Sepia.
Have a great day, hm, evening:-)
This looks great in sepia and nice job doing two memes in one post.
I have a picture of this place, but ironically I posted a picture of a wall in New Jersey.
Great combination Leora! I love iron signs.
I love your sepia tone, Leora! And of course I love stone houses and colonial windows! 🙂

Is it decoration, brand name or real blacksmith shop?

I mean, I love the sepia effect!
(sorry about that!)
What a lovely photo, Leora. I like the varied texture blends. The sepia tones add a wonderful effect to a craft that has become rare.
Love your window casing set in the stone. The stone and wrought iron are perfect for sepia. see my sepia scene & window views here Thanks!
