Ilana-Davita talks about what it means to obey, and what it means to listen. Mrs. S. comments about the student who does exactly what told to do vs. the student who takes the assignment to the next level. Speaking of Mrs. S., she is wondering how she should rename her blog.

Startup Wife (aka Abbi) has a Greens, Mushrooms and Noodles recipe that her kids wouldn’t look at (sounds like my kids).

James has some beautiful reflective photos of Lambertville, New Jersey. Ellie is looking down at the North Carolina State Fair. And Mary went to Sleepy Hollow, New York.

I am planning to write a post on soup – what’s your favorite? If you have a link to a soup recipe, feel free to put it in the comments, and maybe it will appear in the post.

  • Thank you for the plug in 🙂 Boris got the flu and I got to run now, but I’ll be back to visit everybody. James’s reflections meme is a lot of fun.

  • Your pictures make me homesick for American fall (or even Jerusalem fall- Ranaana can only muster searingly hot heat waves so far this fall. Although I did spot a beautiful tree shedding some yellow curvy leaves- it wasn’t a ginko, have no idea what tree it was). Those turning leaves bring back so many memories of apple picking, carved pumpkins everywhere and Thanksgiving meals. Though I don’t miss all that Halloween commercialization everywhere.

    And thanks for the plug!

We get less of it in our area – lots of Jews live here! If I lived in Israel, it would have to be some place cooler than Ranaana.
