This dragon is on display in the children’s room at the Highland Park Public Library. I took the photo on one of our trips to visit Belle, the therapy dog. Belle is on vacation until February. Have a good holiday, Belle! See you next year.
This is the whole colorful quilt.

This is a real piece of art. I love his head, the siolk, the embroidery on it.. so pretty!!!
Have a good holiday yourself Leora!
This dragon is stunning. So are your shots. I wonder how big the quilt is.
Great shots of the creative quilt. Beautiful.
Beautiful.
Merry Christmas

What an amazing quilt! I am so in awe of people who can create things like that.
Yes, me, too! Takes a certain patience, dexterity and love of fabric. I’ve just got the love of fabric.
Leora, a magnificent dragon so beautifully colorful! I wondered who Belle, the therapy dog was til I click the link. That’s a marvelous thing for a library to do! I love the new Ruby Tuesday badge. Can I use it and suggest it for use by other participants next week? 🙂
Leora, I think the new badge is a little small on your post. Do you have a bigger version? Could you send it to me in e-mail? That is if I can use it… 🙂
Mary, I’ll email you a larger one soon (maybe tomorrow?). Yes, I would love for you and others to use it. Then in a few weeks/months maybe I’ll make yet another one.
I really like this scary dragon. 🙂
I like this dragon, sot so scary as stylish (is that paisley on his scaly coat??). He appears to twirl on his canvas – a creative children’s librarian is a gem, they were such a fun place for ours to learn!
Good eye on the paisley – love that.
What an amazing find! I love how he’s looking right at me 🙂 Really gorgeous – thanks for sharing him with us!
the dragon quilt is gorgeous!!!
the colors and detail are so amazing
Wonderful dragon, I like the red rickrack trim. What a great library you have!
Ralph probably noticed the paisley because we are into Vera Bradley patterns this year, ahem, thanks to our daughter who has become interested in those things. 😉 She may be getting something from Santa in that vein.
This dragon is colorful and creative. I wouldn’t want to make such a quilt, but I can appreciate all the work that goes into it.
Very nice. Happy Ruby Tuesday!
Wow that is a beautiful design.
My RT Merry Christmas!
Wonderful-looking quilt; wonderful-looking dragon.

The dragon is looking friendlier than usual, definitely a cute one on the quilt 😛
Great quilt – I love dragons! 🙂
Wicked nice photos, too!
Masterful job! I have no idea how they make those, but I have a soft spot for these blankets and crafts. Very colorful and warm – perfect to bring joy in the snowy day.

That’s a beautiful quilt!
Hi Leora, do you think that dragon in the library would scare the kids? I like your quilt a lot. It is very colorful as it should be.
Happy RT! I have three of my granddaughters and two dogs today for RT. Adi the beagle, is a therapy. We ‘worked’ today at an assisted living center with an Alzheimer’s wing. The residents all love Adi.
..
Adi is a therapy dog, we are a registered team with the Delta Society.

That is so cool – such a wonderful thing, a therapy dog. Meeting with the dog has really helped my daughter relax about reading.
