Hollyhocks are among my favorite flowers. I photographed these last week at the Longstreet Farm in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Maybe someday I will grow these tall flowers in my own garden.

Hollyhocks are also among my favorite flowers. For some reason they remind me of Denmark.
I am glad we have some this year and we plan to add more in a different side of the garden, pink ones this time.
That’s nice, the “we” part of your answer. I can’t seem to get any family members interested in my flowers.
I do have them interested in chasing away our latest groundhog, who doesn’t want to go into our trap (we think we caught her baby, though) and isn’t afraid of our solar moler pest controllers. She may have left after I threw some dirt into her hole. Not much garden damage this year, unlike last year.
I love hollyhocks, they’re such happy looking flowers. We see them a lot around here.

Lovely hollyhocks!
My flower entry, have a great Sunday!
These are beautiful Leora!
My Dad loved these. I remember years ago he carried seeds 500 miles to me. They were gorgeous around my mailbox – thanks for some memories.
I have just bought a very pretty hollihock – a pinky mauve colour with small flowers. Still debating where to plant it out of the wind as we live on a hill.
Remind me of ctaage gardens and embeoidery when I was young. Thanks for posting

I’m fond of hollyhocks too. In fact I grow them in in my gardens – we;ll, they volunteered to grow there so I help them. 🙂
These hollyhocks are gorgeous. I love hollyhocks so much and you photographed them so well.
