I photographed the cherry blossoms (pink flowers) in front of forsythia (yellow flowers).
The geese in Donaldson Park are enjoying the spring weather by the Raritan River.
We are getting ready for Passover (Pesach in Hebrew); one of the nicknames for Passover is Hag Ha’Aviv, the Holiday of Spring.
For more Nature Notes:
I love the way the forsythia forms a yellow background for the cherry blossoms. The shot of the geese is also beautiful. I hope you have a happy Passover.
Carver, I had fun with the pink on yellow. I took quite a few shots and decided to post that one.
Beautiful harbingers of better days. I wonder where the geese in the US go in the winter. European geese fly to Africa.
I’m thinking they might hang out there (in Donaldson Park) all year.
You are quite the nature photographer now…and I am the gardener.. who knew..LOL… I haven’t done my NN post yet. Maybe I will use the dandelion post as it took so long to write..I wanted to let you know that I know who you are as webmaven and you can just make up an e-mail address as I have to do on some WP blogs. They changed it making people log into WP and it makes it hard for me so I use an fake e-mail and just rambling woods..hope this helps…Hmmm..should I use the dandelion post or just reference it…Michelle

I discovered I have an old WordPress account with user name leoraw, so I’m trying to use that instead of mswebmaven. Hoping the next time I leave you a message it will link back to my blog. I edited the WordPress.com profile accordingly.
WordPress.com made things complicated on purpose. So annoying of them.
and there was a huge outcry from WP blog users and they didn’t change it back or address the issues which is surprising for them as they had always been so responsive unlike blogger
What gorgeous captures of nature’s loveliness. From the beautiful tones of the forsythia to the geese, I am smiling brightly.
LOVE those cherry blossoms!
Great capture of the Geese and the cherry blossoms are beautiful. Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a lovely day.
I love how you got the cherry blossoms in front of the yellow forsythia! Your geese are also wonderful. Really nice photos. 🙂
Beautiful photos!
I love the pink on yellow, well done
Geese always make me smile, I love the sounds they make
Happy Passover Leora, I hope you have a wonderful celebration
I love seeing the Canada Geese.
I really like the cherry blossom photo. The forsythia in the background is beautifully blurred and lends a nice contrast. You’ve inspired me to do something about flowers in an upcoming post.
Joe, thanks for leaving a note on my post. I do enjoy those spring blossoms! Look forward to seeing your flowers.
Love the delicate cherry blossoms on the yellow background!
