This red beach chair photo may make it appear that there is hardly anyone at the Asbury Park Beach on July 4th, but in truth it was quite crowded on the beach. I hope to write a pictorial, historical post on Asbury Park in an upcoming post.

Perfect place to be on a hot summer day!!! Nice shot
Unless you were in the water itself, it was pretty darn hot! For once, the water didn’t feel too cold.
What a serene and lovely capture of mood and reflections.
I really did enjoy the reflections in this shot.
Wonderful shot! I hadn’t realised there was a Ruby Tuesday 2.
Robin of Around the Island sometimes enters, as do a few other photo bloggers I follow. I haven’t had much time (or much in red) in the spring – more photos in summer and a bit more time.
Great capture!
Moms… Check nyo
The only place to beat the crowds on a hot day may just be the Atlantic. If the dry sand is too covered, perhaps a chair placed in the midst of the incoming or outgoing surf will do the trick. Hopefully this chair was not swept away at the next low tide…
I so long for the sand , the smell, the salty water in the beach. Lovely shot.
Rubies in a Peacock Lamp. Have a great Tuesday!

I’d love to sit there and just watch the tides. Terrific shot!
great shot, the reflection is so cool
hope you’re enjoying the summer
Beautiful serenity! Love the hint of red reflection in the water! The chair being in the water seems to symbolise a wish to take a relaxing journey! Lovely photo!
I love the simplicity of this image Leora!
