  1. Talk about looking out of place. Nice photographic contrast, and interesting how carnations line up with direction of snow streaks.

  2. Robin says:

Beautiful. The incongruence of the flower really makes you focus on the snow and ice. Lovely shot.

  3. lawstude says:

beautiful. Merry Christmas too and enjoy this day with your family.

  4. magiceye says:

    very creatively done!

  5. Mojo says:

This is the kind of scene that would turn into a whole story in my mind. It would actually make a good Wordsmith’s Challenge prompt. Because the stories of how these flowers came to be in this setting could vary almost infinitely.

  6. Lorri says:

What a lovely photo, with great texture blends, and the vibrant floral tones to contrast.

  7. As I’m scrolling through to find something I saw this picture and it’s truly gorgeous that I just had to comment! I love the combination of the rose, snow and road.

  8. Leora says:

Jewish Side, it’s a carnation (not a rose). Glad you like it!

  9. ahh now that I look at it again your right, it doesn’t look like a rose.
    Thanx!

  10. Amanda says:

Nice mix, the snow and the flower, great choice.
